Marios Aristopoulos is a composer and sound designer for new media based in London. Selected composition credits include: Beasts of London - an interactive exhibition for the Museum of London, Flame of Hope Lighting Ceremony for the 2019 Special Olympics in Athens, APOTHEON - a Canadian award-winning video game for PC and consoles (Top 10 PlayStation soundtracks of the decade - Push square), AENIGMA - a Greek 3D animation film (best film - International Animation Festival of Hiroshima, Japan), and The Living Book - a UK 360-VR immersive experience about the future of climate change. In 2016, he was a resident artist in the prestigious Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York as well as a fellow for the Sundance Theatre Lab in Utah.

Marios holds a Ph.D. in interactive composition from City, University of London and leads the game audio courses in Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has developed and taught multiple undergraduate and MA music production courses for colleges such as The Institute of Audio Research in New York, GSMD, Point Blank, and BIMM London. His first educational book, The Game Music Toolbox, will be published by Routledge in September 2022.
